1. start by choosing your desired product. each palette reflects a different style + mood.

2. then choose a price point + whether you would like your florals to come arranged in a vase or wrapped as a bouquet in paper.

3. you’ll then be prompted to a window where you can select a delivery or pick up date, add a gift note, and optionally add any order notes for our designer’s reference.

4. add your item to the cart and at checkout, select in store pick up or local delivery (shipping) in chicago.

5. pick up and delivery are available thursday-sunday between 12-6 pm. if this time frame does not work for you, please reach out to hello@nerinefloral.com to coordinate a time that does.

6. if you plan on getting your florals delivered, the nerine team will reach out to the recipient the selected day of delivery to coordinate.

Once your order is placed, you’ll receive an email from our team confirming your order and delivery date.

Your order will show as pending until the designated delivery day. You will receive an email notification when it is marked as out for delivery.

We have a delivery window of 12-6 Thursday-Sunday. As there are multiple deliveries on each route, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time, however we are always happy to accommodate if there is a specific 2 hour time window within our regular delivery window that works best.

For residential deliveries, we will knock or ring the doorbell upon arrival. our delivery driver may also call the recipient upon arrival. If no one answers within 10 minutes, the flowers will be left in a safe location near the door whenever possible. Flowers will only be left at a secure outdoor location if weather allows i.e. if it is not too hot or too cold as this can be hazardous to flower survival. Because our drivers are often completing multiple deliveries, we’re unable to wait longer than our 10 minute window. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure someone will be home to receive the delivery or to ensure there is a safe place to leave the flowers. Please plan to be available to receive your flowers or let the recipient know to expect the delivery. If flowers are unable to be delivered, they will be brought back to our shop where we can coordinate redelivery for an additional fee. While we always do our best to leave flowers in a safe and protected location, nerine is not responsible for damage, theft, weather exposure, or other circumstances outside of our control once the order has been delivered.

For condominium/apartment buildings or offices/storefronts with a lobby, flowers will be left with the front desk or at the designated delivery location according to the building’s policy and the recipient will be notified by their building management instead of our delivery person.

although we generally do our best to choose floral ingredients that will make the most impact possible at any price point, size + fullness of your florals will vary depending on the types of flowers and vessels used, as different stems can vary greatly in value/cost.

we're always happy to advise you on the varieties of flowers we can use to achieve different looks at different price points if size, fullness, or impact in a certain space is a concern.

nerine was founded as an antithesis to the traditional flower shop. therefore, we always try to source seasonal flowers + foliage that reflect the local landscape in which we are situated- an urban environment surrounded by expanses of grasses, woodlands, and lakes of the midwest. we combine sculptural, modern design with an organic, nature led composition, hence our floral inventory shifts to reflect seasonal availability.

though certain types of stems may be available for most of the year, much of the product we use is only available for short periods of time, so no two arrangements will ever be a copy + paste recipe, as our design approach focuses on letting the materials guide the design.

we always do our best to accommodate specific requests, but please note that images seen on our website or socials are for reference, as floral selections depend on availability.

to honor their beauty a little longer:

• ensure water level stays topped up + that all stems are in water.

• change the water every other day to keep bacteria at a minimum.

• if possible, trim the stems for a helpful refresh.

• keep your florals out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents.

• remove any spent blooms as they expire to keep enjoying the remainder of your flowers for as long as possible.

should any other questions regarding the care + longevity of your flowers arise, do not hesitate to reach out.

• if you’re gifting the bouquet longer than one hour after purchase, leave it wrapped in the paper and put the exposed stems into a vase or cup of water until you’re ready to gift them.

• If the bouquet is for you and your home, remove bouquet from paper,  trim stems to height of the vase, filled with clean, cool water, 

• leave the brown bind wire wrapped around the bouquet  if you’d like to keep its shape, otherwise feel free to remove the bind wire and loosely mix your bouquet into the vase

• ensure the ends of all stems are in water + add water to the vase as needed..

• change the water every other day to keep bacteria at a minimum.

• trim the stems for a helpful refresh.

• keep your florals out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents.

• remove any spent blooms as they expire to keep enjoying the remainder of your flowers for as long as possible.

we are currently booking for the 2027 wedding season!

for your reference, our full-service wedding minimum is $8000. our full-service wedding package includes a free consultation, a custom design deck, in person or remote design check-ins, venue walkthrough, event delivery, installation, and tear down. however, we can sometimes accommodate different budgets during off-season or for pick-up or delivery, which would not include the full service package.

we do not offer set pricing packages within our full-service scope, as we prefer to customize items tailored to a couple’s floral needs for their day.

we are currently working on an a-la-cart self service page for pick-up + delivery for weddings below our minimum.

We have a $750 minimum spend for full service, custom florals.

If your event budget is less than $750, you can order flowers for pick-up or delivery via our à la carte online shop.

if you have a specific concept or floral request in mind, we’re happy to work together to create something outside of the bounds of what we offer on our site.

please note that even custom orders still operate as designer’s choice. we don’t copy + paste other artist’s work, so we’ll do our best to bring a specific vision together while still working within the scope of seasonal + market floral availability as well as our own unique design style at nerine.

We have a $150 minimum for customs.

At nerine we work hard to provide the freshest possible florals. however, it's important that customers understand that cut flowers can be delicate and require specific care. under proper conditions, we guarantee your flowers will last a minimum of 72 hours from pickup or delivery date.

Making sure your flowers have sufficient clean water, all stems are submerged in the water source, and keeping your flowers out of direct sunlight, and away from vents in a temperate controlled room is crucial to their longevity. Sometimes flowers can crash if they experience temperate shock which can happen in extreme weather conditions. at the end of the day, flowers are ephemeral and sometimes act unpredictably, no matter how fresh they may be. If you are not happy with the quality of your flowers, please get in touch at hello@nerinefloral.com within 72 hours of your pickup or delivery date.

Please provide a detailed description of your quality issue as well as photos of your flowers. In the event that a customer has a valid quality issue, we exchange the faulty arrangement/bouquet for a new arrangement/bouquet. If not a replacement is not desirable, we are happy to offer a full or partial refund.

We do not offer refunds or replacements based off of personal tastes, color or flower preferences. All arrangements are Designer's Choice and made at our designer’s discretion using what is fresh and available at the market. This flexibility is what allows us to create unique work with interesting flowers that are available during each season. We are not a traditional flower shop and can understand this way of working may not serve your needs or preferences, so we are always happy to refer you to a florist who works within pre-determined styles if that is your preference.
